Passion 2010 was incredible!  21000+ college students and young adults gathered together in downtown Atlanta to worship God and to celebrate His glorious grace.  We sat under gifted teachers and worshipped with talented worship leaders who led us to the throne of grace.  My personal highlight was probably getting to worship with Hillsong United on Sunday night.  That was an unbelievable worship experience!   I would love to hear from those who attended what your favorite moments were, or how God spoke to you through the conference.  Please post your comments below. If you weren’t able to go, check out the Passion website and join us next year.

I’m going to have to agree with Andy that Hillsong probably took the cake as far as favorite moment went. What a great night of authentic, Spirit-led worship. I feel like the worship went far beyond the lights and loud sounds and was truly from the heart, which I feel is rare in a room packed with 17,000 people. It just felt like everyone’s hearts were in the right place. Next to Hillsong, I feel that my favorite moment was probably when John Piper through the granola bar into the audience and said, “Don’t sue me please.” He delivered an unbelievable sermon, but as far as humor goes, he was on a roll.

I feel that God really taught me a collection of things through this weekend, so it is tough to put my finger on one thing. However, I feel that this weekend was really refreshing to my spiritual walk. My brother (Austin) and I talked about how, when we were younger believers, a weekend like this would probably result in the infamous “emotional high”, but now that we are older, weekends like Passion serve as more as a “boost” than a “high”. I feel that these “boosts” are more likely to benefit a spiritual walk because they do not wear off like “highs”. They just work as aids. But now I’m just rambling so I’m going to stop.

So, overall, this weekend was incredible. I love the collective worship and sound teaching, but seeing 21,000 hearts that are eager to change this world really made this weekend an awesome experience.
